Thank you for answering the qq abt the sorority. I still have a chance to switch. I just refused to believe that all sororities act like the one I once belonged to. I have always wanted to be part of a sorority, an african american one to be specific but unfortunately the school I went to didn't have that. So I joined the one at my school, hoping to build a sisterhood, be part of the community services and etc, but they didn't include me in the activities. Rather I was the talk of the group.
Have you officially joined? Is it a part of a council like the NPC, NIC or IFC, anything like that?

I noticed that you are part of the AKA sorority. I was wondering if a person was in a different sorority and left due to personal unfair reasons affiliated with the one they were once with, and want to join the AKA or any other sorority, can they do that?
If you are a member of an NPHC organization, you can't join another. Once you're a member, you can't leave the organization unless you are expelled from it. You may become financially inactive, but you are forever considered a member. I hope this helps.
