It's Friday and everyone's brains are probably fried, so there really isn't a better way to start off your weekend than by watching the Beautiful video by Mariah Carey ft. Miguel. It may sound like a strange request, but trust me when I say that, by the end, your heart will be overflowing with joy.

Sure, the song is catchy and they are both very talented singers, but that's not what makes this video so incredibly awesome. I want to take a moment and commend Mariah Carey for the way she frolics around in a vomit-colored dress and takes time to celebrate herself … with wind. I don't think there's another celebrity out there who is better at self-rubbing (maybe R. Kelly?), and with every uncoordinated gyration, Mariah elevates this video to a new level of cheesy amazingness. Sure, she has a hard time standing up on her own— you can tell by the crazy way she keeps reaching out to hug herself, over and over — but at least she keeps going. Twirling in six inch heels and lingerie is not easy, okay. Still, Mariah is a hot mess I can appreciate. I just wish I could see the b-roll from the video shoot.
